Domestic Flights

Japan Airlines (JAL), All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan Air System (JAS) and several other air carriers service extensive route networks throughout Japan. Visitors on a tight schedule can choose to fly to and from points not served by Shinkansen super-express trains.
Departure Tax
For convenience, passengers departing from Narita Airport have the passenger service facility charge included in the air fare (2,040 yen for adults, 1020 yen for children) and do not need pay this at the airport. Passengers leaving from Kansai Airport on international flights are obliged to pay this charge in yen (2,650 yen for adult, 1,330 yen for children) at the airport. Transit passengers taking connecting charge is not levied at other international airports in Japan.
