BETWEEN TERMINALS: The
airport shuttle bus transfers passengers between terminals 0500-2000.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS: There are information desks in both terminals and flight information screens can be found throughout. A Tourist Information desk (tel: (0)21 550 7088) can be found in Terminal 2 (International Terminal). AIRPORT FACILITIES: Money and communications: Terminal 1 has banks, a bureau de change and a post office in the Arrivals Hall. Terminal 2 (International Terminal) has banks, bureau de change facilities and ATMs, a post box, telephones and 24-hour telecommunications services, including fax and telex; free local dialling is provided in the waiting lounges. Eating and drinking: There are a variety of food outlets in both Terminals 1 and 2. Shopping: There are numerous shops in Terminal 1. In Terminal 2, there are shops including duty-free, a gift shop, newsagents and bookshop. Other facilities: There is a medical centre in the Arrivals hall in Terminal 1 and there is a medical centre in the administration building's Angkasa Pura II offices in Terminal 2. There is also a pharmacy in Terminal 2, open 0730-2200. DISABLED FACILITIES: There are toilets and a lift for disabled passengers. Wheelchairs can also be provided on request. CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS FACILITIES: There is a 24-hour telecommunications service available in Departures and Arrivals (D and F) in Terminal 2, including telephones, fax and telex facilities. CAR HIRE: Car hire companies at the airport are Avis (tel: (0)21 314 2900) and Bluebird (tel: (0)21 794 4444). CAR PARKING: Short-term and overnight parking is available five minutes walk away from the terminals. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: The airport is a 30-minute drive (longer in the rush hour) from Jakarta, off the Soediyatmo toll road (Bandara exit). PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Road: Taxi: Taxis can be booked at counters in the Arrivals areas and in the main halls of the terminals (journey time: approximately 45 minutes); road tolls may be added to the fare. Bus: The hour-long DAMRI shuttle bus route runs between Kemayoran, Gambir, Rawamangun, Blok M/ Kebayoran Baru and Bekasi. Buses also leave every 30 minutes for Kilideres Station (journey time: 30 minutes). AIRPORT HOTELS: The Aspac Quality Hotel (tel: (0)21 559 0002) is a three-star transit hotel at Terminal 2 and the Sheraton Bandara (tel: (0)21 559 7777) is also at the airport; a hotel reservations desk can be found in each terminal.
