Boeing 747-400 'Megatop' & 'MegaArk'
The 747 Megatop is the biggest passenger plane of the moment. Its mainly used for long haul flights to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and across the Pacific. Singapore Airlines has in total 42 of these aircraft in in its fleet, another 9 are allready purchased*. The Boeing 747's are powered by four Pratt & Whitney Engines. The 747's of SIA have the following seatconfiguration:
  • 16 seats in First Class
  • 53 seats in Raffles Class (Business)
  • 316 seats in Economy Class
