The Airbus 340 is the newest airplane of the European Airbus Consortium. Singapore Airlines has in total 15 of these aircraft in in its fleet, 2 more are purchased. The Airbus 340's are powered by four CFM Engines. The 340's of SIA have the following seatconfiguration:

  • 10 seats in First Class
  • 30 seats in Raffles Class (Business)
  • 225 seats in Economy Class
