Allowances
for Economy Class Passengers
Our generous baggage allowances mean you may
bring baggage weighing up to 20kg (but no more than 2 bags on flights to
and from North or South America), plus 1 piece of carry on baggage.
Your carry on baggage may include one carry on
bag not exceeding 5 kg (11lbs) and total measurement not exceeding 46cm
(18") x 33cm (13") x 21cm (8").
Additional checked baggage allowances are
available for members of The Qantas Club and selected Qantas Frequent
Flyers.
Business Class Baggage Allowance
Your Business Class baggage travels with priority
baggage tags to ensure it is among the first off the aircraft. Generous
Business Class baggage allowances give you plenty of room.
You may bring 30kg of checked baggage on most
flights, except to or from North or South America, Canada or Tahiti where
two bags of no more than 32kg each are permitted. Additional allowances
are available for Gold, Silver and Blue Qantas Frequent Flyers and Qantas
Club members.
Your carry-on luggage may include two bags not
exceeding 7kg and total measurement not exceeding 56cm (22") x 36cm
(14") x 23cm (9").
Generous
First Class baggage allowances give you plenty of room.
You may bring 40kg of checked baggage on most
flights, provided no individual piece exceeds 32kg. If flying to or from
North or South America, two bags of no more than 32kg each are permitted.
Additional allowances are available for Gold, Silver and Blue Qantas
Frequent Flyers and Qantas Club members.
Your carry-on luggage may include two bags not
exceeding 7kg and total measurement not exceeding 56cm (22") x 36cm
(14") x 23cm (9").
