| Polynesian Airlines offers special
facilities on all international services whereby overweight baggage
consisting of personal wearing apparel and personal articles may be
carried at 50% of the normal General Cargo rate by a travelling passenger
who holds a Polynesian Airlines ticket.
Should a passenger not hold a Polynesian Airlines
ticket then the normal cargo rate of respective ports shall apply. Please
note that your baggage may not necessarily travel on the same flight as
yourself.
Note: For the safety
and comfort of passengers, the amount of baggage carried in the aircraft
cabin is restricted to the above allowance, and must be capable of being
stored under the seat in front, or in an overhead locker.
All items being carried must be presented at the
acceptance counter at check-in time, as any article that is too bulky must
be processed as checked baggage and stowed in the aircraft hold. When this
is necessary and the free checked allowance is exceeded, the appropriate
excess baggage rates will be charged.
