The 747-400 
The largest commercial jetliner ever built, the 747-400 seats 387 passengers in 3 classes of service. As we complete a multi-million dollar upgrade to our fleet, you will find personal television sets, telephones and faxes being introduced in all classes of service. Economy class personal televisions will be installed from August 1998.

First and Business Class passengers have easy access to telephones and faxes and can relax in our multi-adjustable ergonomically-designed seats. We are also proud to offer 100% smoke-free environments on all of our transpacific flights.

Airport Check-in Time
When checking in at the airport, you should arrive 2 1/2 hours prior to your scheduled departure time.  This will provide you with enough time to check-in, clear security and arrive at the departure gate at least 20 minutes prior to departure time.

As a rule check-in counters close approximately 40 minutes prior to departure time.
