Pacific Voyager (Economy)

Tradition

Pacific Voyager
Centuries ago, our ancestors, embarked on a daring adventure. They set sail across the Pacific in their double-hulled canoes (or "druas"), in search of a new land. These truly were the first Pacific voyagers and in honour of their daring deeds, Air Pacific's Pacific Voyager Class, previously Economy Class, offers a new level of trans-Pacific air travel, encompassing all that is unique to Fiji's International Airline.

Luggage

Pacific Voyager passengers are entitled to check-in 20 kgs of luggage, plus one piece of cabin baggage weighing not more than 4 kgs. Travellers to and from North America are entitled to check-in 2 pieces of luggage, each no more than 32 kgs.

Checking-In

Check-in begins three hours prior to scheduled departure. Families, parents travelling with kids and passengers requiring special assistance are encouraged to check-in early to get their preferred seats and to avoid long queues.

Boarding

Give yourself enough time to go through immigration and customs and to browse through duty free. Aim to be at the departure gate before boarding begins.

At most airports, either announcements are made relating to departure or there are "live" departure screens at convenient locations with updated information on boarding status, boarding times and gate numbers.

In most cases, boarding begins with an invitation for Tabua Class, Tabua Club, Frequent Flyers, parents travelling with infants and children, and passengers requiring assistance to board, before the rest of the passengers.

On Board

Before take off, our cabin attendants offer passengers a cool drink of orange juice. After takeoff you can wipe away your troubles with our complimentary hot or cold towel service.

We have a fully complimentary bar service with spirits, beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee for our passengers. Water dispensers are located at various points in the aircraft.

Our new B737-700 features the very latest ergonomically designed seats with adjustable headrests, providing excellent comfort and support. The headrests feature adjustable wings making sleeping a lot easier. These seats will be installed progressively on the rest of our fleet.

For our younger passengers, a complimentary Captain Bula kit will keep them engrossed for hours while there is ample reading material provided in magazine racks throughout the aircraft for our adult passengers.

Soft blankets and pillows are available and are usually on your seat when you arrive on the aircraft for your use during the flight.

FlightGuide

Air Pacific has a comprehensive entertainment system for your enjoyment.

Air Pacific's multi channel audio program features a wide range of Country & Western, Gospel, Classical Collection, Hindi Selection, Easy Listening, Current Hits, Children's Programs and Fijian Sounds. Complimentary headsets are provided.

Arrival

Before each landing our cabin attendant will distribute all required customs and immigration forms. If you are in transit, you will be given a transit card by the ground staff at the airport. You will need to present the transit card to reboard the aircraft.

Our cabin attendants will advise of disembarkation procedures. Please contact our ground staff as they meet the aircraft for any information on transfers, car rental or other requests you may have.

Air Pacific does not require you to re-confirm you onward journey and please note that our service may vary due to operational requirements.
