Advice

When packing, fold clothes tightly to ensure they take up minimum space. Place a few items into your packed footwear to maximise your use of space. Ensure all containers with liquid contents are tightly closed and sealed if necessary.

Remember to keep a few essentials with you in your cabin bag for your comfort during the flight.

Checked-In Baggage

Pacific Voyager Class passengers (Economy class) are provided with a 20 kg baggage allowance for checked-in baggage. Children under two years old not occupying seats do not receive a baggage allowance. Travellers to and from North America use a two piece baggage concept where the maximum permissible weight for each piece is 32 kgs (70 lbs).

Tabua Class passengers (Business Class) are allowed 30 kgs allowance.

Tabua Club members are provided with a 30 kg allowance even when travelling economy on all Air Pacific sectors.

Cabin Baggage

Pacific Voyager Class passengers are allowed 1 cabin bag excluding any duty free shopping bags. The bag must not weigh more than 4 kgs.

Tabua Class passengers and Tabua Club members can bring 2 pieces of cabin baggage with a maximum weight of 4 kg per piece.

Luggage Security

It is a security requirement that you are completely aware of the contents of your bags. You should not, under any circumstances, carry luggage for other people without being fully aware of the contents or let other people pack for you. It is also wise to clearly label your bags for easy identification and to lock or secure all your checked-in baggage.

Dangerous Goods

There are some items that are classified as dangerous goods, requiring special handling and their carriage is governed by certain international restrictions.
