Offcourse you are welcome
to visit our office. Please note we are not a type of travel agency with front office
desks and where you just can walk in. We do most business through the
computer and telephone, and we have special visitor rooms (for salestalks to clients).
We are located right in the centre of Amsterdam
in an historical building on the Herengracht, one of the beautiful canals.
Our office building in fact is a official monument, as it is one of the
oldest canal-houses of Amsterdam.
Our office
hours are 9.00 am till 5.00 pm (17.00 hours). We appreciate if you give us
advance notice of your visit, as we are usually quite busy and don't want
you to wait for hours. If you decide to come to our office, we will
typically reserve 1 or 2 hours for this meeting. You will speak with the
sales person knowing the most of the destination you want to travel (all
staff have travelled widely in the Pacific, but we have to divide the
tasks a bit offcourse). We may show you a video, maps and brochures,
depending on what you want to hear and see.
Getting there by Car
Please note
that Amsterdam is a busy city with a shortage of parking space (like most
big cities). Beside that the city has adopted an visitor unfriendly
parking policy (if you over-extend your parking time, they might tow your
car away or put a wheel lock on your car [costs around 200 nlg and over]).
Therefore be careful and put enough coins in the parking machine (approx 6
nlg/hour).
An even better option is putting your car in one
of the many parking garages. We advice you to use the "Stopera"
garage (in the cellar of the City Hall and Opera Building). From there it
is only a 10 minutes walk to our office (across the bridge over the Amstel
River, turn left along the Amstel and turn right after for 30 metres and
follow the Herengracht till you reach #495).
For a map and driving route to our office in Amsterdam, go to
location and a route description (and fill in our
postalcode 1017 BT). Handy might also be
to check out the actual traffic
conditions, as the highways around Amsterdam are often jammed.
